3-day camp to implant free pacemakers

The Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research, in collaboration with NGO Project Pacer International and Boston Cardiac Foundation, is organising a three-day camp to implant pacemakers to poor heart patients free of cost.

The Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research, in collaboration with NGO Project Pacer International and Boston Cardiac Foundation, is organising a three-day camp to implant pacemakers to poor heart patients free of cost. The camp will be held on February 12, 13 and 15 at the hospital.

Pacemakers will be implanted free of cost, which includes cost of procedure, pacemaker device, hospitalisation and consumables.

An OPD service will be run especially for the purpose during the camp, where people in need of implant can get themselves registered. The hospital regularly screens people who have undergone an implant in its previous camps.
