A 40-year-old dentist was found dead near a hotel he was staying in at Safdurjung Enclave on Friday morning. HT reports.

A 40-year-old dentist was found dead near a hotel he was staying in at Safdurjung Enclave on Friday morning.

According to the police, Dr Subhash Modi’s body was discovered with a head injury by the hotel staff, who informed the police. “Dr Modi worked as a professor at Ghaziabad’s ITS Management and IT Institute. He was here to attend a seminar at the Safdurjung Hospital,” said a police officer.

According to the hotel staff, Dr Modi was last seen strolling on the hotel premises after having his dinner at an in-house restaurant around midnight.
“It seems he lost balance on the stairs while going to his room. He lost consciousness and died due to excessive bleeding,” the officer said.
