NEW DELHI: A week after the road rage killing of a Congolese man in Delhi that sparked a diplomatic row and violence against Indians in Congo, four attacks on African nationals by residents in Chattarpur were reported.

The six victims claimed Thursday night’s attacks were racially-motivated. Kenneth, a musician, told HT a mob attacked his car and beat him with bats and rods while his wife and infant daughter watched in horror.

But the police said the attacks weren’t planned and were caused by various issues like playing of loud music and drinking in public. They said none of the victims had filed a complaint.
