In a bid to salvage its tarnished image and project the picture of a ‘party with a difference’, the BJP on Wednesday came out with a vision document for the year 2025.
In a bid to salvage its tarnished image and project the picture of a ‘party with a difference’, the BJP on Wednesday came out with a vision document for the year 2025.

The party image had taken a beating following the alleged murder of a partyworker over tickets.
The document listed out the party’s priorities for the development of the city and promised to make Delhi ‘a model city’ where water, shelter and power would be
provided to every citizen.

Vision Delhi 2025, released by senior leader Arun Jaitley, focused on improving physical infrastructure, governance and fuelling economic growth.
Blaming the Congress-led government of corruption, Jaitley said that the party would administer a paperless administration while ensuring a “corruption free” service delivery mechanism.
Despite the party releasing its manifesto on Monday, the BJP released the vision document to strengthen its chances in the municipal polls.
Jaitley also added that the party would improve the water distribution system in the city to such an extent that water tankers would become redundant.
“In addition, to ensure efficient distribution of water, we will work to ensure that water remains affordable to all residents,” the party noted in the document, which also talks about improving the sewage treatment, sanitation and garbage disposal systems.
By 2025, the party also pledges to restore Yamuna to its original glory. The party will also try to make Delhi slum-free by constructing low cost houses for the underprivileged.
