A BSES official said the company has set up a grid sub station at the Games Village near Akshardham Temple in East Delhi where athletes will stay.
"All the projects have surplus power. We will ensure a trouble free power distribution during the Games," he said.
The discom has prepared a blueprint to strengthen and augment the distribution network in all the stadiums, guesthouses and other Games venues.
"The infrastructure at all the CWG stadiums has been created or augmented keeping in mind the future scalability and requirements," he said.
