The Supreme Court on Monday held as unconstitutional the ouster of former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh from the state Assembly on charges of corruption.
A five-judge constitution bench headed by Chief Justice KG Balakrishnan ordered forthwith the restoration of Amarinder Singh's membership of the present Assembly.
