Though there was no casualty due to delay, government as well as private ambulance service providers were getting several complaints of jam on the roads, specifically around Tilak Nagar area of west Delhi.

"Nearly 15% of our ambulances that had to reach hospitals such as Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Mata Chanan Devi were getting stuck in the jam. Most complains were coming from Tilak Nagar and adjoining areas. Fortunately there has been no death," said Ashwani Kapoor, director of Delhi Ambulance Service, a private service provider.

"Normally, we instruct our drivers to avoid protests routes, but in this case, most routes in the western part of the city were affected," he added.
