Former Chief Manager at Indian Oil Corporation MK Tyagi approached Metropolitan Magistrate Munish Marken with a complaint of defamation against Ansari.

Repeated attempts to reach Ansari failed as he neither replied to questions sent to him nor took calls in this regard.

The petitioner, 62-year old Tyagi, complained that during the the debate on the talk show, Ansari had made critical remarks against him calling him corrupt.
