Approach road is rickety
The proposed approach road is full of garbage and debris. A hand pump offers drinking water. There are no public conveniences either. The area is huge and littered with ruins but there is no guide to explain the importance of each of these structures.

The ticket window was burned down a few years ago by local anti-social elements. The only positive is the spacious open space in front of the monument, which serves as parking.
"It is going from bad to worse. There is no law preventing encroachment on the village land around it," said Devendar Sehrawat, a resident Mahipalpur.
