Baby undergoes another surgery

The condition of two-year-old baby girl continues to remain critical but stable in the neurosurgery ICU of AIIMS Trauma Centre.

The condition of two-year-old baby girl continues to remain critical but stable in the neurosurgery ICU of AIIMS Trauma Centre. Doctors said their primary concern is to control the infection in the brain and lungs that she developed on Monday.

On Wednesday, another minor surgery was performed to drain out fluid collected in her brain through the spine.

"We are waiting for the culture report to find out if there is a need to change the anti-biotic,” said Dr Sumit Sinha, associate professor, department of neurosurgery.
