Biometric attendance

After the MCD and the NDMC, it is the turn of the Commonwealth Organising Committee to set up a biometric attendance system at the Organising Committee’s (OC) headquarters for its employees.
The Games authorities will implement the new attendance system from March 15. According to OC spokesperson Lalit Bhanot, the authorities decided to go in for the new system considering the large number of employees that are working for the mega event.
“While earlier we were a smaller group, it was easier to monitor who was in office and who was not,” Bhanot said.
