Speaking to reporters outside parliament, Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) leader Brinda Karat said: "The BJP and Congress have joined hands to delay the discussion on corruption and price rise."
"As there is a momentum, a debate scheduled on the issue of corruption and price rise, what is the point in disrupting the house? It is a joint effort by the BJP and the Congress. Quite frankly, the Congress is benefiting from this," Karat said.
The BJP on Wednesday disrupted both houses of parliament and demanded home minister P. Chidambaram's resignation over the police crackdown on party workers in the capital the previous day.
