‘BJP has failed to keep its promises’
Delhi Congress president Jai Prakash Aggarwal said the BJP failed to implement several of its schemes and plans during its tenure in the MCD.
The redevelopment plan of Shahajahanabad, Sadar Paharganj and Karol Bagh, construction of public toilets for women, zero-defect streets and CNG-run cremation facility are some of the schemes that the BJP had promised but could never make them run.
“Several plans were made for the redevelopment of Shahajahanabad with special focus on historic Jama Masjid and Red Fort but no work has been done on the proposal” Aggarwal said.
