The BJP chief Nitin Gadkari said the party’s findings were based on ‘evidence’ collected using the Right to Information.
While Leaders of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha would meet the Prime Minister in this regard, he would personally lead a delegation to the President to submit report.
“The Congress chief Sonia Gandhi had made tall promises against corruption. They are so hollow that not only are the central leaders corrupt, even the chief ministers of Congress-ruled states are making money,” Gadkari said.
Gadkari said since Prime Minister Manmohan Singh represents the northeast in Parliament, it was his “responsibility” to check the scams, which were hindering the pace of development in the region. “It is unfortunate that all the scandals and scams are taking place in Congress-ruled states.”
