Blueline death toll reaches 27

The 27th death by Blueline bus this year was reported on Monday. A man was killed after he came between a speeding Blueline bus and a stationary DTC bus in Saket. HT Correspondent reports.

The 27th death by Blueline bus this year was reported on Monday. A man was killed after he came between a speeding Blueline bus and a stationary DTC bus in Saket.

Police said the incident took place around 4:00 p.m. when the victim, Ravi Yadav, was walking near the bus stand.

“Yadav was trying to walk past a stationary DTC bus when suddenly a speeding Blueline bus hit him. The man was crushed between the two buses,” said a police officer.

A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against the driver.
