Body found at Cong leader Kumari Selja's house

The body of a middle aged man was found in the servants' quarters of the Sunehri Bagh bungalow of Congress leader Kumari Selja early on Monday morning.

The body of a middle aged man was found in the servants' quarters of the Sunehri Bagh bungalow of Congress leader Kumari Selja early on Monday morning.

According to additional commissioner of police, Delhi, SBS Tyagi, the body has been identified to be of Sanjay, a daily wager around 38 to 40 years of age. While he was not employed by the former Lok Sabha MP from Ambala, he was the husband of the maid and used to frequent the premises.

The body was found by security guards in the servants' quarters, which are on the same compound but stand separate from the main bungalow. The Tughlaq Road police station was alerted at around 8am in the morning.

Police and forensic teams have arrived at the bungalow. Investigations are still going on.
