Three persons, including a BPO executive and a woman, were murdered in the past 24-hours hours in the Capital while two murder incidents were reported on Sunday.

The charred body of a 36-year-old BPO executive was found near a drain on Monday in Sarangpur village in southwest Delhi.
Police suspect that some friends of Yogendra Kumar, the deceased, could be involved in the murder. Kumar was a resident of Gurgaon.
A senior police officer said the matter came to light after a passerby spotted the body and called the police control room. "There was a stab wound in Kumar's abdomen and his killers might have poured petrol on the body before setting it on fire. We found an empty bottle of petrol from near the body," said the officer, adding a case of murder has been registered at the Jaffarpur Kalan police station.
During investigation, the officer said, it was learnt that Kumar was last seen consuming liquor with three persons and later leaving the place in a white Santro car.
In the second incident, the body of an unidentified woman, aged between 30 and 35, was discovered in northwest Delhi's Bhalaswa Dairy area on Tuesday morning. The third murder was reported from west Delhi's Nihal Vihar where a 27-year-old mini-truck driver was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants.
