In a bid to improve the quality of English teaching, British Council will soon start imparting English lessons to NDMC school teachers.

With its English medium schools, especially Navyug schools, becoming popular, the civic agency wants to extend English as a medium of instruction in its schools as well.

Admitting that NDMC schools are ill-equipped to meet the demand of the students who opt for English medium, the council has decided to send a batch of 450 teachers for the council’s language proficiency and development of continuous professional development.
