Dr SK Shakya, who examined the candidates and Head Constable Narender Mehta have been charged by Special CBI Judge Pradeep Chaddah for conspiring to extort money from applicants to clear them in the medical test.
"Mehta was not deputed in the process of recruitment. Despite that he was demanding bribe from the aspirants. It clearly indicates a nexus between him and Shakya. Thus there exists a strong prima facie case against them," the court said.
