Bulandshahr BSP MLA's wife murdered in Delhi

Hazi Aleem, an MLA from Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr constituency, is reportedly in Mecca for Haj. Police suspect that a personal or political rivalry could be the motive behind the murder of his wife.

BSP MLA Haji Aleem's wife was found dead with multiple stab wounds and a bullet lodged in her body at northeast Delhi's Jafarabad area late on Tuesday night.

Hazi Aleem, an MLA from Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr constituency, has reportedly gone to Mecca for Haj.

A case of murder has been registered against unknown persons. The police have been suspecting that a personal or political rivalry could be the motive behind the murder of 40-year-old Rehana. Further investigations into the matter are on, the police said.
