Home Minister P Chidambaram on Monday said he cannot confirm or deny the involvement of any Indian in the November 26, 2008 terror attack in Mumbai.

"I can't confirm nor deny," he told reporters when asked about reports about a resident of Maharashtra playing a key role in guiding the operations of the team that attacked the financial metropolis.

He was replying to a question on whether an Indian national Syed Zabiuddin Syed Zakiuddin Ansari was present in Lashkar-e-Taiba's control room during the attack.
