CBI gets 3 more days to quiz Desai

A Delhi court on Wednesday allowed CBI to interrogate MCI president Ketan Desai and three others for three more days in custody in connection with alleged transaction of Rs two crore meant for according recognition to Gian Sagar Medical College near Patiala.

A Delhi court on Wednesday allowed CBI to interrogate MCI president Ketan Desai and three others for three more days in custody in connection with alleged transaction of Rs two crore meant for according recognition to Gian Sagar Medical College near Patiala. Additional Sessions Judge O.P. Saini allowed CBI’s plea that further custodial interrogation of the accused was required in view of their alleged non-cooperation in the ongoing probe of the massive scam.

“All the four accused are remanded in police custody till May one,” the court said.
