A four-year-old girl fell off her school bus and got crushed under the wheels on Thursday. The police were searching for the driver against whom they have filed a case of negligence.

Muskan was a nursery student of Major Biharilal Memorial High School.
According to DCP (south) Satish Baliyan, the child fell off the minibus as it took a sharp turn at Bilaspur crossing on NH 8. It happened around 7.35 a.m. Baliyan said the child’s family members have blamed the driver. “In their complaint, they have said that Muskan fell because the driver was driving rashly,” he said.
School owner Rishi Raj said the bus door was shut and the minibus was ferrying 35 students. There was no schoolteacher with them, he added. The Supreme Court guidelines for school buses say the doors should be locked and there should be an attendant from the school in the bus. DCP Baliyan said no action would be initiated against the school.
