Even though the minimum temperature rose to 11.5 degrees Celsius from Tuesday’s 9.4 degree, a point above normal, the maximum declined from yesterday’s 26.6 degrees Celsius to 22.5 degrees Celsius.

The city received 4.7 mm of rainfall last night, Met department said. The cold winds are likely to continue, the weathermen said attributing it to the prevailing western disturbance in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Met department has predicted partly cloudy sky and fog. The night temperature is also likely to decline to touch to 8 degree Celsius.

The maximum will settle at 22 degree Celsius.
