
Circle rates in Ghaziabad increased by 25 per cent
The Ghaziabad administration has increased the circle-rates in various residential and commercial areas in the city.
Kaushambi continues to be the costliest residential colony in Ghaziabad with the circle-rates touching Rs 32,000 per sq metre. Officials said there has been an increase of around 25 per cent as compared to previous rates.
Circle rates in Indirapuram and Vaishali been increased to Rs 28,000 and Rs 26,000 respectively. For colonies like Vasundhra its been increased from Rs 18,000 to Rs 22,000.
Circle rates, said senior Ghaziabad district officials, have been increased keeping the existing market rates.
Officials said they expected their revenue earned from the registration of properties to go up by Rs 100 crore after the increase in circle-rates.
