CISF man kills self at Metro station

A constable of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) shot himself dead at the Jahangirpuri Metro station on Tuesday.

A constable of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) shot himself dead at the Jahangirpuri Metro station on Tuesday. According to the police, the constable, identified as AK Tiwari, was on night duty and shot himself around 3am.

“He was posted at the Jahangirpuri Metro station and killed himself from his service gun. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and was declared dead on arrival. His body has been sent for an autopsy whose report is awaited,” said a senior police officer.

The police recovered a suicide note from the spot. “He hasn’t blamed the force for the suicide and it appears he was having family problems. His family has been informed about the incident,” the officer added.

Further investigations are on in the case.
