While South Delhi Corporation demolished portions of eight properties, the North Delhi and East Delhi corporations demolished illegal portions in 18 properties.

A senior officer of one of the corporation said action will be taken against DDA flats in the coming few days as several of them are illegally running offices.

"The DDA flats are meant for residential purpose but several of them are being used as offices as the rentals are cheap," said an official.

On Friday, south Delhi corporation demolished structures at Duggal Colony, Sultanpur, Sangam Vihar, Mohammadpur and Said-ul-ajab.
