Class X results out, but CBSE yet to collate them
After a long wait, students were able to access CBSE class X exams results by 6pm on tuesday. But the board could not collate all the results and the pass percentage.
Following the CBSE’s introduction of the Comprehensive and Continuous Evaluation (CCE) system for Class 10 students, those who had optionally taken the Board examination along with those assessed under the grading system in Delhi have finally received their results.

While the board could not provide details about the pass percentage or the number of students who got the A1 grade, students were able to access their results by 6pm.
“We have not collated all the results and the pass percentage has not been calculated so far. It may be available by Wednesday,” said Vineet Joshi, chairperson, CBSE.
There will be no difference between certificates issued by the board to the students under the school based or board based summative assessment. “In 2011, the Board will issue a similar certificate to all candidates, irrespective of assessment system," said Rama Sharma, Public Relations Office, CBSE.
Students under the school-based assessment system can apply for verification of grades to their schools, while those under Board-based assessment can contact the regional office or apply online. Of the total of 10.6 lakh class 10 students, a mere 4.6 lakh appeared for Board exams in 2011.
In Delhi around 50,000 out of almost 3 lakh students appeared for the exam.
