"The skies would be clear in the morning. The day is expected to be warm and sunny," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

"The maximum temperature would hover around 29 degrees Celsius," the official said.

The humidity level stood at 93%.

The maximum temperature recorded Saturday was 26.8 degrees Celsius, four notches above the average for this time of the season.
