Congress flays BJP for shielding Shah

The Congress today lashed out against the BJP and said the party is trying to shield Amit Shah, the Gujarat Minister wanted by the CBI in connection with the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case.

The Congress on Friday lashed out against the BJP and said the party is trying to shield Amit Shah, the Gujarat Minister wanted by the CBI in connection with the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case.

Congress spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that BJP, in a clear contempt of court, sank to a new low in uncontitutional behaviour by holding a press conference on a subjudice matter.

Singhvi said that the Gujarat minister is running scared and is avoiding interrogation, and that Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Shah have much to hide.
