The Sub Divisional Magistrate who recorded the statement of the victim reportedly claimed the police officials' briefing did not match the survivor's statement, citing pressure from the police.

The 23-year-old rape survivor gave her statement to the SDM on Saturday.

Her condition remains to be critical. Doctors treating her at Safdarjung Hospital said on Monday that she suffered internal bleeding. However, she was conscious and communicating.
