The prosecution has examined several doctors who had conducted post-mortem examinations on victims of the blast. Last week, in order to speed up the trial, the court had ordered recording statements of 15 witnesses every week.

Court sources said that a separate full-fledged court should be made to try the blast-related cases. "The same court is also trying criminal cases, along with blast cases. It completely slows down the process of trial," said the source.

The prosecution is yet to examine clinching evidence like footage from laptops seized from the accused, wherein the alleged terrorists recorded the conspiracy of carrying out serial bomb blasts.

Similarly, the Batla House encounter case is at the evidence stage, wherein the prosecution is in the process of examining doctors who had conducted post-mortem on victims.
