A city court on Saturday issued production warrants for five alleged terrorists of the Indian Mujahideen (IM) following the chargesheet filed in the Karol Bagh and Greater Kailash (GK) bomb blasts.
Mohammed Saif, Mohammed Sakeel, Saquib Nisar, Zia-ur-Rehman and Zeeshan Javed are presently in judicial custody with the Gujarat Police that is probing their involvement in the Ahmedabad blasts.
All five have been accused of conspiring and executing the bomb blasts at Karol Bagh and GK. They have to appear before the court on January 7, 2009.
The police claimed 26 people were involved in conspiring and executing the September 13 bomb blasts that rocked the Capital. To support their theory the police have gathered crucial circumstantial evidence like pictures from the laptop of deceased terrorist Atif Ameen.
The police are likely to file in January a supplementary chargesheet against Qyammudin Kapadia who was arrested from Ujjain, and Sadik arrested from Mumbai following the Delhi terror attacks.
