The meet will discuss seat-sharing with the party's partners within the United Progressive Alliance, including the Samajwadi Party, and other election-related issues, party spokesperson Shakeel Ahmed told reporters here Wednesday.

The CWC is the party's highest decision-making apparatus.

A cut in the prices of petroleum products is also likely to be discussed at the meeting, he added.

The much-awaited alliance with the Samajwadi Party will remain the top issue, especially after its general secretary Amar Singh held a meeting with Congress chief Sonia Gandhi Jan 24.

The Congress, according to party sources, expects the dates for the Lok Sabha elections to be announced between Feb 15 and March 1.

Election Commissioner S.Y.Quraishi in London Wednesday indicated that the polls to the Lok Sabha would be held by May 18.
