Two Tihar inmates had claimed that jail officials provided weapon to kill the Games Organising Committee officials.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Vinod Yadav said: “The police have failed to probe the matter as per the court’s directions.”

The judge refused to give more time to the police to probe the matter.

The court noted that a knife was recovered from the jail premises and “it’s an alarming issue”.
