DDA engineer who rented flat to Gautam questioned

Delhi police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Interrogated a DDA engineer who had rented the same flat to housing fraud accused M.L. Gautam from where he allegedly filled several application forms under the reserved category.

Delhi police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Interrogated a DDA engineer who had rented the same flat to housing fraud accused M.L. Gautam from where he allegedly filled several application forms under the reserved category.

Police said the engineer (name withheld) had rented the flat at Milansar Apartments in Punjabi Bagh to former Delhi Development Authority (DDA) clerk M.L. Gautam and also reportedly helped Gautam in filling the application forms.

Gautam had filled 1886 forms from this flat and managed to corner 46 flats under various reserved categories.

“We have come to know the engineer was in the know of things and was aware that his flat was being used for filling the application forms," said the officer.
