Delhi's Lt Governor Tejendra Khanna said flats being constructed by the Delhi Development Authority to house Commonwealth Games delegates and tourists will be ready by September.

DDA's vice chairman Ashok Kumar Nigam had claimed on Thursday that the much delayed construction of the 2,000 flats would be complete by September.

He had said half of the flats, meant for technical staff of the Games Organising Committee, would be complete.
