Two days after a doctor was injured in an acid attack in Rajouri Garden, the Delhi Police on Thursday detained all four accused in connection with the case.
Two of them are minors. All the accused are believed to be in the age group of 17-22 years.
On Tuesday, two bike-brone miscreants hurled acid at a 30-year-old woman doctor and robbed her in broad daylight. The police recovered her handbag from Khyala on Wednesday.
"While the two have been apprehended from Madipur area in Punjabi Bagh, two more will be detained for questioning," said a police officer earlier in the day.
A senior official said on condition of anonymity, "One of the minors, 17, knew the doctor quite well."
Police are also trying to zero in on the place from where the acid was procured, and the bike which was used in the crime.
The doctor was on her way to the ESI Hospital on her Scooty when two bikers threw a chemical substance at her. Preliminary examination indicated that she had severe injuries on the right part of her face, including her eye.
