Delhi airport agent caught stealing from sleeping passenger at terminal 3

Officials said the incident was reported late on September 15 night when security sleuths at the airport noted suspicious movements of a customer service agent over the CCTV.

The agent, identified as Deepak U Bopche, was followed and caught stealing Rs 5,000, a few bank cards and a mobile phone from the baggage of a traveller. The traveller was sleeping inside a coffee shop in terminal 3, waiting for his early morning flight to Mumbai.

Bopche was apprehended with the stolen goods, which were returned to the passenger, and handed over to Delhi Police.
