Seven students of The Indian School in south Delhi tell how their lives have shaped up in Delhi

I stay in Sant Nagar in south Delhi. I feel homesick when I am away even for a short period. Delhi is like an extended family. The exciting moments are when we celebrate festivals together.
Another reason why I adore Delhi is monuments like Qutub Minar, Red Fort, etc. I am proud to be a Delhiite. It is dilwaalon ki dilli, for sure.

I came to Delhi on a hot day. My mother told me I’d cried non-stop for an hour when we came to Delhi from Kerala due to heat. I was four months’ old. I was greeted by our pet cat Tito. Soon we became friends. Last year, my cousins came to Delhi and saw many places like Qutub Minar, Red Fort etc. It was spring and Delhi is beautiful in spring.
I love Delhi in all seasons!

Delhi had gone through yet another day full of life when I was born. I had difficulty in securing admission in nursery due to the Ganguly Committee report. But I am proud that Delhi successfully hosted the CWG.
I am proud that Delhi’s sports infrastructure matches the best in the world. I promise to use this infrastructure to bring laurels to my city and country.
