Kailash Sardana, a West Patel Nagar resident, approached the court stating that Splendor Landbase Limited has cheated him in terms of the size of a shop he had booked in their upcoming commercial complex in Gurgaon in April 2008.

Rakesh Makhija Sardana’s counsel contended that his client was shocked to note that the company had changed the project’s floor plan in an illegal manner at the time of handover. “At the time of booking, the company had showed the plaintiff the ground floor plan wherein the entry to the shops was from the front of the Mall and the number of shops were less,” Sardana said. Sachin Puri counsel for Splendor Landbase said that Sardana has made false allegations, and a Delhi court has no jurisdiction to try the present suit.
