Delhi: Food and supply offices to be renovated

Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit said the food and supply circle offices spread across the city will soon be renovated. HT reports.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said the food and supply circle offices spread across the city will soon be renovated.

Dikshit was speaking during the inauguration of the renovated circle office of the food and supply department at Laxmi Bai Nagar.

Dikshit, while dedicating the office to the people, said the remaining circle offices across Delhi will be commissioned soon. Delhi food and supply minister Haroon Yusuf and commissioner (food and supply) S Kumarswamy were also present.

Yusuf said the remaining offices will be renovated in a phased manner. Already 15 have been completed and the remaining circle offices are expected to be completed by 31st March this year.

Dikshit said the Delhi government was committed to providing comfort to poor people and empower them by making them aware about their rights and also the timely delivery of public services.
