Delhi to regularise plots under 20-pt programme
In good news for thousands of families, the Delhi government on Monday decided to regularise plots of land allotted under '20-point' programme in early 1980s, by granting perpetual lease.

In good news for thousands of families, the Delhi government on Monday decided to regularise plots of land allotted under '20-point' programme in early 1980s, by granting perpetual lease.
Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit, after a cabinet meeting, said the lease will be granted under three categories - original owner, sold houses and commercial properties.
The rates of the lease will be determined in due course, she said.
Plots of land were allotted by the government under 20-point programme in early 1980s.
Dikshit said the decision to grant perpetual lease in respect of 20-point programme allotment will end uncertainty about status of the allotted sites.
