A misty morning gave way to bright sunlight on Sunday with the minimum temperature settling at 12.7 degree Celsius, three notches above normal.
The maximum was recorded at 26.1 degree Celsius which is one degree above normal for this time of the season and 1.3 degrees less than yesterday's 27.4 degree Celsius.
The fog affected rail services as 10 trains were cancelled while two dozen trains arrived late.
