The minimum, meanwhile, rose to 5.8 degrees Celsius from 4.4 degrees Celsius recorded on Tuesday. The weatherman has predicted similar weather for the coming days as well.
"There will be slight fog on Thursday morning and the minimum and maximum may be between 7 degrees and 20 degrees, respectively," said a Met Department official.
On Wednesday, there was a shallow fog cover for some time early in the morning but it dissipated as the sun came out.
Delhi has experienced a pleasant weather in the past few days despite the fact that icy winds have been blowing across the city. The mercury had risen to 24.3 degrees Celsius last week, quite high for this time of the year.
"After last week, the pleasant weather is such a boon. Even the fog has disappeared. I just wish the winds were a little warmer," said Ankita Nagi, a resident of Munirka.
