Dowry: 2 given life sentence

A woman has been sentenced by a Delhi court to life term along with her teengaed daughter for burning alive her daughter-in-law for her failure to meet their additional dowry demand of R1 lakh. It refused to impose death penalty on them, saying the case did not fall in the “rarest of rare” category.
