An awareness programme on disability was organized in the city by Rotary Viklang Kendra on Saturday. The seminar was focused on promoting an understanding of issues regarding disability and mobilising support for the dignity, rights and well-being of disabled people. HT reports.

An awareness programme on disability was organized in the city by Rotary Viklang Kendra on Saturday. The seminar was focused on promoting an understanding of issues regarding disability and mobilising support for the dignity, rights and well-being of disabled people.

“We need to have an inclusive understanding towards differently-abled. This gathering allowed us to bring the needs, concerns and rights of the people with disability into the limelight,”said Dr N Subramanian, chairman, Rotary Viklang Kendra.
