Delhi traffic police, noting that emergency services such as ambulances and fire tenders often found it difficult to wade through the 13km road up to Chhatarpur in case of an emergency, has written to officers concerned in the fire and health department to identify some locations on the stretch to provide emergency services like fire tenders and ambulances.

“Emergency services should be available in the area, which houses hundreds of farm houses and the road gets badly clogged during wedding seasons,” said Anil Shukla, additional commissioner of police (traffic).
