Former army chief VK Singh has provided fresh evidence, including a CD and documents, to the CBI in its probe against a former army official who had allegedly offered him Rs. 14-crore bribe during his stint.

Former army chief VK Singh has provided fresh evidence, including a CD and documents, to the CBI in its probe against a former army official who had allegedly offered him Rs. 14-crore bribe during his stint.

“The CBI has received fresh evidence, including a CD, from former army chief VK Singh that purportedly seek to corroborate the allegations against a former army official who had offered him a Rs. 14 crore bribe,” said an agency source.

The CBI has gathered records from the defence ministry and the army HQs. “We have also accessed details of Singh’s personal diary,” the source said.
