Retired banker Akash Sharma (name changed) was worried as his tenant refused to vacate his flat in a prime south Delhi colony.

Sharma approached Truth Labs, which used scientific investigation to establish the tenant had extended the rental period by forging documents using old signatures and colour scans.
An increasing number of people like Sharma are turning to private forensic services offered by Truth Labs to help close property disputes, cheating cases, cases involving embezzlement of funds or any case that calls for an expert to establish the veracity of a stated claim.
“A common man is either hesitant or afraid to go to the police or the judiciary unless it is that important. So an alternative dispute redressal system was needed,” said Dr Gandhi P C Kaza, former Andhra Pradesh IGP.
This unique non-profit non-government public-private partnership project —Gandhi’s brainchild — has tried to bridge the gap.
Not just individuals, even corporates and government agencies like the police and the judiciary have been employing the services of Truth Labs.
Delhi Lab’s Director S R Singh — former Director of CFSL, CBI — said, “We are also giving free services to genuine victims.”
